This cigar has a silky dark wrapper with one prominent vein. The aromas from the foot are cocoa and coffee. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a cold pressed latte (unsweetened).
The cigar starts off solid with earthy tobacco and cedar notes. The draw is flawless, as is the burn. The retrohale is very smooth. This is a fairly full bodied smoke.
The first third is consistent in strength. This is a very full bodied cigar. A subtle coffee note has joined the flavor profile and black pepper notes appear in the retrohale. The burn remains flawless.
During the second third the cigar has gone out three times. Maybe I should eschew Facebook and focus on the cigar… The flavor profile remains consistent and the burn remains perfect. The pepper in the retrohale is also constant.
Approaching the final inch the strength is still very solid. The complexity of flavors is good and the construction remains excellent.
