Oscar Valladeras McFly Toro

This cigar has a smooth, dark San Andreas wrapper. One-half inch of the foot is unfinished. The foot has very light aromas, mostly just tobacco. The cold draw is perfect. This cigar will be featured at Redland Cigar Company’s Halloween event on October 30.

The initial flavors are medium to full bodied with light fruit notes. Once the fire reaches the wrapper, spicy notes add to the flavor. The ash is mottled grey and not very solid. The burn is even.

In the first third the spices have picked up a bit. The retohale is smooth with some pepper notes. The ash solidified once the wrapper started burning and is fairly solid. The burn remains even.

During the second third the fruit notes fade in the flavor profile with some woody and earthy notes appearing. The retohale is very smooth with almost no pepper. The smoke remains medium to full bodied with a good volume. The ash remains fairly solid and the burn begins to slant a bit.

Approaching the final inch the cigar starts getting hot. The flavor profile remains steady with a smooth retohale. The ash remains fairly solid and the burn remains slanted.

Overall a pretty good cigar with fairly good complexity and good construction. 8.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
