Cordoba & Morales Family Reserve Habano Lancero

This Lancero has a very smooth medium dark wrapper. The foot has roasted nut aromas. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a (512) Brewing Pecan Porter.

The initial flavor profile is sweet and nutty over an earthy base. The ash is mottled grey and looks solid. The burn is perfect.

During the second third the sweet nutty notes turn towards pecan, perhaps affected by the ale, which is a very good pairing. The retohale remains smooth with light white pepper notes. The burn returns to even after burning off the canoe. The ash is cracking so I am tapping off regularly.

Approaching the final inch the burn is uneven but not canoeing like earlier. The flavor profile remains steady. The strength of the retohale has increased but remains smooth. The ash is flaking a bit.

Overall a very good cigar with nice complexity. The only issues I have are the burn, which returns to even approaching the nub.

9.1/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
