Maceda Robusto

I picked this cigar up from the La Farona shop in Ybor City last fall when we visited Tampa. It has a nice smooth Habano wrapper. The cold draw is perfect.

In the first third the smoke is very smooth with a good volume of smoke. The flavor profile is fairly light with pecan notes combined with a hint of spices. The ash has already dropped on me but the burn is even.

During the second third the flavor profile remains steady. There is a light earthy flavor at the base. This is a light to medium bodied cigar. The ash remains somewhat fragile but the burn remains even.

Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains steady. There is some light pepper in the retohale. The ash never solidified enough to get any length, but the burn remained even all the way down.

Overall a good light cigar with good complexity and decent construction, only marred by the fragile ash. 8.9/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
