This is a very nice looking cigar with a medium dark wrapper. There are light aromas of tobacco with a hint of sweetness in the foot. The cold draw is perfect.
The initial flavors are woody with a complex blend of tobacco and coffee notes. The ash looks solid and the burn is mostly even.
In the first third the coffee notes deepen in the flavor profile. A light sweetness remains with the woody base. The smoke is thick and rich. The ash has tilted a bit but remains solid. The burn remains even.
During the second third the sweetness disappears, giving way to the coffee notes. This cigar would be excellent to pair with coffee or a coffee based stout. The ash tapped off solid at just past an inch but begins to splay at the end. The burn remains steady.
Approaching the final inch the flavor profile is strong black coffee with a bit of pepper, which is heavy in the retohale. This is a mostly full bodied smoke. The ash continues to splay at the end, probably from the filler. The burn remains even.
Overall a very good experience. The strength develops from medium to full bodied. The complexity is excellent and the construction is very good. 9.3/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
