Crux PB5 LIMITADA

This cigar has a medium brown wrapper with a sharp box press. The wrapper is smooth and silky. The foot smells of toasted tobacco. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew.

The initial flavors are earthy and mellow. There is a light pepper note in the retrohale. The burn is a bit uneven but I will give it some time before I touch it up.

In the first third some cedar joins the flavor profile. The smoke is very smooth and thick. The retrohale remains smooth although the pepper notes have increased. I am going to have to touch up the burn to get it to even out.

During the second third light savory spices join the flavor profile. This is a medium bodied cigar. The retrohale remains smooth with light pepper notes. After touching up the burn is very even.

Approaching the final inch the complexity of flavors remains excellent. The construction is less than optimal though as the burn continues to be uneven. Still, a very smooth and pleasant morning smoke that pairs very well with coffee.
