La Sonrisa Charlotte 5 x 38

This little treat has a smooth Connecticut wrapper and filler from the Esteli area. It has a very mild aroma from the foot and the cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a cold Topo Chico.

Initially more medium than mild bodied, the flavor profile consists of earthiness with a tang of cedar. The retrohale has medium notes of black pepper. The burn is mostly even.

In the first third the smooth eathiness is predominant over the waning cedar notes. The smoke is very smooth and pleasant. The burn remains very even.

During the second third the strength increases to a medium bodied cigar. Some savory spices join the flavor profile. The retrohale remains a bit peppery yet smooth. The burn remains very even

Approaching the final inch the complexity of flavors remains excellent and the construction is excellent. This is a very nice little cigar.
