Casa 1910 Robusto

This is a good looking cigar with a somewhat bumpy Colorado Claro wrapper. The notes from the foot are very light and mostly just tobacco. The cold draw is perfect and has a tiny bit of tequila twang to it. Pairing with a Reposado tequila pour.

The initial flavors are mostly toasted tobacco with a slight sweetness. So far the ash looks like it may be a bit flaky but the burn is even.

In the first third the flavor profile doesn’t vary much, still maintaining a light sweetness to complement the tobacco notes. The cigar is producing lots of thick smoke. The tequila is pairing well without altering the flavors. The ash is a bit flaky but the burn remains even.

During the second third the flavor profile remains steady, a nice blend of toasted tobacco with a light sweetness. This is a solid medium bodied cigar. The retohale is very smooth. The ash remains fairly flaky but the burn remains even.

Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains steady. There is a slight twang of spice in the finish. The construction is good, if very slightly underfilled as evidenced by the ash and how quickly the cigar is smoking. The burn remains very even.

Overall a very good medium bodied experience. The construction is good and the complexity is very good. 9/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
