Rojas KSG Lonsdale

The Ecuadoran Habano Maduro wrapper of this cigar is slightly oily with one prominent vein. The binder and filler are Nicaraguan. The cold draw is perfect with light earthy notes. Drinking a light lemonade.

The initial flavors are earthy with a pleasant spicy note indicative of the Habano wrapper. The ash is light grey and solid. The burn is even.

In the first third the spices pick up a bit. The flavor profile is mostly earthy. The ash remains solid and the burn remains even.

During the second third the flavor profile has settled in. The smoke is medium to full bodied. Earth and spices, with a light spicy note in the retohale. The ash remains solid and the burn remains even.

Approaching the final inch the spices in the flavor profile fade a bit, but the finish is still a bit sharp. The ash remains solid and the burn remains even.

Overall a very good experience. The smaller ring gauge brings out the flavor of the wrapper. The construction is excellent and the complexity is very good. 9.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
