Southern Draw Pecadilloes Nettle

This is the darkest of the Pecadilloes. The wrapper is dark and smooth. There are light aromas of earth and leather from the foot. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a cold brew Colombian coffee.

The initial flavors are medium bodied with an earthy base with leather and coffee notes with a lightly sweet finish. The ash is looks fairly solid but drops early. The burn is even.

In the first third pepper notes appear and mostly mute the leather. The retohale is fairly smooth with light pepper notes. The ash remains solid looking but drops at intervals. The burn remains even.

During the second third the flavor profile picks up some sweetness. The complexity is developing nicely. The smoke is thick and rich. The ash and burn remain steady.

Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains steady and complex. The ash and burn remain steady.

Overall a very good Maduro with excellent complexity and construction. The finish is smooth and lightly sweet. 9.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
