Camacho Nicaraguan Rum Barrel Aged Corojo Toro

This is a nice looking corojo with a very smooth medium wrapper. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a pour of Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva.

The initial flavors are surprisingly smooth with none of the characteristic char of a freshly lit cigar. The profile is medium bodied and smooth with a light sweetness. The rum is a good pairing. The ash is light grey and mostly solid and the burn is even.

In the first third the flavor profile remains very smooth and medium bodied. A light sweetness remains under the pleasant rum and solid tobacco flavors. The retohale is very thick and smooth. The ash is less solid but the burn remains even.

During the second third the flavor profile remains solid and pleasant with plentiful flavorful. The retohale picks up a very light white pepper note. The ash remains mostly solid and the burn remains even.

Approaching the final inch the strength of the smoke picks up a bit but remains smooth and flavorful. The ash remains mostly solid and flat and the burn remains even.

Overall a very good cigar and a very good pairing with the rum. 9.4/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
