This cigar has a very smooth dark wrapper. Aromas from the foot are light. The cold draw is a bit tight. Tonight’s beverage is a Founders Dirty Bastard ale.
The initial flavors are medium bodied with a light sweetness and good toasted tobacco flavors. The ash looks solid and the burn is even.
In the first third the flavor profile remains a very smooth medium bodied smoke. There are touches of vanilla and a very light sweetness in the flavor profile. The smoke is thick and smooth. The retohale is very smooth. The ash is firm and the burn remains steady. The ale is a solid pairing.
During the second third the flavor profile remains steady with a bit of cinnamon sneaking into the back. The ash remains solid and the burn remains even.
Approaching the final inch the retohale remains very smooth. The flavor profile picks up a little more cinnamon while otherwise remaining very solid. The ash remains solid and the burn remains even.
