CLE Habano 4×60

At the 2018 IPCPR, CLE released their core line in a 4×60 format. Today I will review the Habano wrapper with a cold Topo Chico.

The wrapper is very smooth and nut brown. The foot smells of nutty flavors. The cold draw is perfect.

The initial flavors are bolder than the typical Habano , probably because of the increased amount of filler tobacco. The burn is excellent.

In the first third the flavor profile the flavors are nutty, earthy and a little dry. The retrohale is very smooth and clean. The burn remains perfect.

During the second third the dry aspect of the flavor profile has been replaced by some sweetness. The smoke is very smooth and plentiful. The retrohale remains very smooth. The burn remains perfect.

Approaching the final inch some pepper notes appear in the retrohale. The flavor profile remains excellent. Very good complexity and excellent construction make this a very good cigar. I will probably stick with the smaller ring gauges but this is still a very nice smoke.
