Emperors Cut Shawty

Short but attractive cigar with a nice dark brown Maduro wrapper. There are light sweet notes from the foot and has a perfect cold draw. Tonight’s beverage is a pour of Bulleit Bourbon.

The initial flavors are a subtle sweetness over a solid earthiness. There is a light pepper kick in the retohale. The ash is mottled grey and the burn is even.

In the first third some oak notes ease into the flavor profile. The ash is firm and the burn remains even. The bourbon adds very little flavor-wise.

During the second third the flavor profile remains steady and very smooth. The volume of smoke is very good. The ash remains solid, but dropped off just passed halfway and the burn remains steady.

This is a good medium to full bodied smoke. Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains very good with a very good complexity. The construction is excellent. 9.6/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
