Broncano Cigar Co. Expands Its Classic Line With the New Rubi Toro

A refined 6×52 Toro crafted by Hendrik Kelner Jr. at Kelner Boutique Factory brings modern balance to Broncano’s Dominican portfolio.

October 30, 2025 — Santiago, Dominican Republic / Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin — Broncano Cigar Co. has introduced the Classic Rubi Toro, the newest release in the Broncano Classic line, joining the Royal Blue Toro and Silver Toro.

Produced at the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) in the Dominican Republic by master blender Hendrik Kelner Jr., the Rubi Toro showcases Broncano’s commitment to balanced construction, precision, and evolving complexity.

The cigar measures 6×52 (Toro) and features an HVA Ecuador wrapper, San Vicente binder, and fillers of Dominican Criollo 98, Dominican Piloto Cubano, San Andrés Morron (Mexico), and U.S.A. Broadleaf.

The Rubi Toro delivers a medium-to-full-bodied profile with layered notes of roasted coffee, dark cocoa, and warm spice, rounded by subtle sweetness and touches of cedar and molasses on the finish.
Through the retrohale, toasted spice and faint floral tones expand the profile, offering nuance and structure from start to finish.

“The Rubi Toro reflects our approach to blending — disciplined, balanced, and intentional,” said Martin Smith, Founder of Broncano Cigar Co. “It’s crafted for smokers who appreciate nuance and precision in every draw, and who enjoy the full experience through a proper retrohale.”

The cigar is presented in matte red 10-count boxes, designed to mirror the understated refinement that defines the Broncano Classic series.
Its ruby red band with gold embossing and crowned insignia complements the minimalist aesthetic and reinforces the line’s visual identity. Each cigar is handmade at KBF to Kelner’s meticulous standards, emphasizing structure, combustion, and consistency.

The Broncano Classic Rubi Toro carries an MSRP of $15.50 per cigar or $155 per 10-count box and begins shipping to retailers nationwide in November 2025 through City of Palms Cigar Distribution.
