We flew into Las Vegas on a Friday morning and got a ride to the hotel. After a short unpacking and decompression session, we headed for the Convention Center to register, obtain our badges and get our goody bags. We then walked around the lobby areas waiting for the premier showing of Hand Rolled, a cigar documentary.
This little treat has a smooth Connecticut wrapper and filler from the Esteli area. It has a very mild aroma from the foot and the cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a cold Topo Chico.
This cigar has a medium brown wrapper with a sharp box press. The wrapper is smooth and silky. The foot smells of toasted tobacco. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew.
This cigar has a 1/4” Tubado of ligero sticking out of the foot of the cigar. According to the manufacturer it is to keep the ligero centered. The wrapper is a very smooth and silky dark color and the cold draw is perfect . Tonight’s beverage is a Shiner Bock.
This is a medium-brown wrapped lancero. The main aroma from the foot is coffee. The bunch is firm and the cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is Steep18 Cold Brew Original coffee.
This cedar-sleeved beauty has a smooth and silky wrapper. Aromas from the foot are cocoa and coffee. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a Steep18 Cold Brew Coffee.

This Game of Thrones themed cigar has a smooth and silky dark wrapper. It is box pressed and has a solid bunch. Very light aromas of cocoa and coffee come from the foot. The cold draw is a bit tight. Tonight’s beverage is a Real Ale Brewing Commissar Russian Imperial Stout.
This cigar has a dark, silky smooth wrapper. The bunch is firm. The cold draw is a bit looser than perfect. Heady aromas of cocoa and cedar notes come from the foot. Today’s beverage is a Shiner Bock.
This cigar has a nice medium dark wrapper with a couple of prominent veins. The bunch is pleasantly firm. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a Shiner Bock.
This cigar has a smooth silky wrapper. The foot smells like Bakers’ Chocolate. There’s a long tail that will favor a v-cut. The cold draw is perfect and also has notes of Bakers’ (the kind you’re mother kept that has no sugar or milk). Tonight’s beverage is a Busted Sandal El Robusto Porter.
This cigar has a very smooth dark box press. The aromas from the foot are rich and earthy. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew Pecan latte.
This cigar has a very smooth wrapper with a silky feel. Medium tobacco notes from the foot. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a Stone Brewing Hop Revolver IPA.
This is a well constructed cigar with a nice medium brown wrapper. The bunch is firm and the cold draw is a bit tight. Tonight’s beverage is a cold Topo Chico.
The cigar has a medium dark corojo wrapper. Aromas from the foot are very coffee and tobacco. The bunch is firm and the cold draw is perfect. Tonight’s beverage is a Santa Fe Brewing Java Stout.
