This cigar has a smooth medium brown wrapper. Aromas from the foot are coffee and spice. The cold draw is generous. This morning’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew latte.
Initial flavors are cappuccino and spice. There is a black pepper note in the retrohale. This is definitely a full bodied cigar. The burn is very even and the mottled grey ash is layered.
At the end of the first third the flavor profile picks up a hint of cedar. The draw is still a bit generous causing the cigar to smoke rather quickly. The smoke is very smooth and thick. The burn remains very even and the ash was solid enough to almost hold as I removed the very large band.
During the second third the cigar went out twice. Both relights were easy and the burn remains very even. A sweetness has joined the flavor profile to add to the already excellent complexity. The draw is still generous, which may be the reason the cigar goes out. The pepper notes are consistent in the retrohale.
Approaching the final inch I am able to keep the cigar lit by smoking a bit faster than I prefer. That said, the complexity is excellent. The construction is a little too loose but the burn remains even and the ash is solid. This is a very full bodied cigar. 85
