Adam Guard, Host of Dreamer Cigars Podcast said: “Like many beginner cigar smokers, I walked into a lounge and tried to pretend like I knew what I was doing. It can be intimidating when you are just getting
started, but my experience led me to find a solution that could change that! I began posting about cigars on social media in 2021. To my surprise, I quickly grew a following on TikTok with an audience that was mostly interested in learning how to get into cigars and some of the basics. I saw this as an opportunity as the solution – in 2023, Dreamer Cigars has already reached more than 50 million people across our social media channels, but we wanted to find a way to help retailers engage
with our audience as well – thus “Rookie to Aficionado” was created!
In collaboration with Rick Rodriguez of West Tampa Tobacco, I wrote this beginners guide to cigars so retailers could use this book as a sort of physical invitation to the cigar world for any beginners that walk
into their shop. Since partnering with Operation: Cigars for Warriors I have had the opportunity to meet veterans that received cigars from CFW and their stories are incredible. Most of them tell me their short time with a cigar was their only escape from the harsh reality of deployment. Others mentioned that by receiving cigars from citizens back home they felt comfort knowing that their service was appreciated…”
Storm Boen, Chairman and CEO of Operation: Cigars for Warriors said: “Operation: Cigars for Warriors is excited to expand our partnership with Adam and Dreamer Cigars with the release of this new book,
specifically designed to help make our donation centers successful and attract new customers to their businesses and the charity.”
