PAGODA 2023 CIGAR ANNOUNCED BY CIGAR DOJO & AGANORSA LEAF

Leading up to this year’s Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival in Broomfield, Colorado, Cigar Dojo and Aganorsa Leaf announce the Pagoda 2023 cigar as a limited-edition collaboration.

Since 2012, Cigar Dojo has become known as the training ground for cigar enthusiasts, offering a friendly and welcoming environment for hobbyists to hone their skills on the journey to leaf enlightenment. With the Pagoda project, the focus is turned inward, laying the foundation for what can be considered the Dojo’s own “house blend,” as represented by the iconic pagoda architecture seen throughout Asian culture.

Working closely with Aganorsa Leaf, Cigar Dojo selected a blend to embody the spirit of the Dojo. Everything from the size to the tobacco-growing regions combines to reflect the “Dojo doctrines” of positivity, kinship, and personal growth. The Pagoda 2023 cigar’s foundation begins with Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 leaves from Nicaragua. This is built upon with a reinforced frame, using not one but two leaves (Nicaraguan Corojo from Estelí and Jalapa) as the binder component. As with any self-respecting pagoda, the roof is the defining feature, materializing in the form of a bright, rich Corojo ’99 wrapper from Nicaragua.
