Pairing experiment 2

Pairing experiment 2

The cigar of the day is a Perdono Legacy Father and Son Maduro. A very deep cigar with predominant earthy and cedar notes. A very good cigar that I will smoke again.

First pairing was blended scotch. Didn’t go Single Malt. The blend is very thin, with almost no peatiness. The cigar defeats any flavors, not recommended.

Second pairing is water (for a palate cleanse). It also adds some moisture to the palate, overall a solid standard pairing.

The last pairing is with a mid-line bourbon. The bourbon adds some sweetness, but not overwhelming. Definitely a better choice with this cigar.

Still want to try the cigar with rum.
