New Alma Fuerte Torpedo Semi-Boxpressed joins the exclusive Colorado Claro-wrapped Alma del Cielo Robusto Gordo, now presented in Plasencia’s new packaging.

(Miami, Florida) – October 19, 2026 – Plasencia Cigars, a world-renowned premium tobacco grower and maker of award-winning cigars with a tobacco tradition since 1865, announces the introduction of a new Alma Fuerte Torpedo Semi-Boxpress (6 x 54), created exclusively for Florida based Corona Cigar Company. The new cigar joins the retailer’s existing Alma del Cielo Robusto Gordo (5½ x 54), distinguished from the original collection by its Colorado Claro wrapper. Both exclusives will ship the week of October 19, 2026, with Alma del Cielo now featuring Plasencia’s evolved brand identity and redesigned packaging.

The Alma Fuerte Torpedo Semi-Boxpressed is a medium-to-full-bodied Nicaraguan puro featuring an aged Colorado Claro wrapper and aged filler tobaccos from Estelí. Presented in 10-count boxes, this exclusive offering carries an MSRP of $26.49 per cigar or $264.90 per box.

The Alma del Cielo Robusto Gordo offers a stronger, more robust expression of Plasencia’s celebrated high-elevation blend. Its unique wrapper gives it a full-bodied experience featuring tobacco from Finca San Julián in Condega, Nicaragua, at elevations exceeding 3,500 feet above sea level. The cigar will now ship in the redesigned blue-and-gold 10-count boxes, with an MSRP of $27.99 per cigar or $279.90 per box.
