Very nice looking corona with a smooth wrapper. Some ligero evident in the foot, which has a light, sweet aroma. The cold draw is a bit tight. Today’s beverage is a 903 Texas Mud Pie Stout, which should go well considering the amount of ligero.
The draw opens after the initial light. The smoke is thick with a sweet cinnamon flavor profile. It starts on the strong end of medium bodied. The ash is mottled grey and the burn is perfect.

The initial flavor notes are toasty and nutty with a good volume of smoke. The ash is mottled grey and looks like it will bear watching and the burn is even.

This cigar has a very dark, smooth, and oily wrapper. I smell sweet tobacco from the foot. The pre-light draw is just a bit firm, but not hard. Today’s beverage is an Independent Brewery Nailed It German Chocolate Cake Stout.
This cigar has a reddish hue to its medium brown wrapper. The foot has aromas of mostly tobacco with perhaps a touch of vanilla. The perfect v-cut reveals a perfect draw. Today’s beverage is a glass of 19 Crimes Snoop Dog Cali Red 2019.

The foot smells a bit musty with hints of coffee and cocoa. A perfect v-cut reveals a perfect draw. Today’s beverage is a Clown Shoes Snow on the Maple Tree Imperial Stout.
The cigar begins with a light sweetness to the mostly full bodied smoke. The Stout turn out to be a perfect pairing, holding its own. This is a very strong blend. The burn is a bit off, probably from lighting with an Alec Bradley tabletop soft flame in a breeze.

Tobacco Media Group (TMG), parent company of the Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE), is excited to confirm that TPE21 will be held in-person May 12-14, 2021 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). On Feb. 11, 2021, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak unveiled his state’s re-opening plan, which went into effect on Feb. 15, 2021. Gov. Sisolak’s reopening plan loosened restrictions on public gatherings and events and venue capacity limits. It also outlines a plan to remove state mandated restrictions and turn control over to county officials by May 1, 2021 if the state’s infection and positivity rates continue to improve. Currently, all indications point toward TMG being able to hold TPE21 as planned in Las Vegas, beginning on May 12, 2021.

The wrapper is a true Cameroon with a touch of green in the wrapper. It is pig-tailed with a shaggy foot. The draw is perfect. Tonight’s beverage is a cold Rogue Dead Guy Ale.
The initial flavor notes are sweet and grassy, with a grassy retrohale. There are no hints of paper that I usually experience with Ecuadoran-grown Cameroon seed wrappers. The Ale tones down the sweetness a bit making for a nice pairing.

A very clean vcut reveals a smooth draw with some sweetness in the tobacco flavor. Today’s beverage is a cold Shiner Candied Pecan Porter.
The initial draws are strong tobacco with lurking cocoa notes. The retrohale is smooth. The beer is subtly sweet, but overall a good Porter that matches the cigar well.
