This cigar is firmly box pressed and has a very solid bunch. Light coffee notes come from the foot. The cold draw is slightly tight with more coffee notes. This morning’s beverage is a cold brewed latte.
The cigar starts out strong with coffee and some sweetness. There is a distinct vegetal note in the retrohale. The draw opens up to perfect after lighting. The burn is mostly even.
(Excuse the poor focus)
In the first third the sweetness remains, ruling out a sweetgum cap. This is a medium bodied cigar that is good with coffee. The solid ash falls just past one inch. The burn remains even.
During the second third some cocoa notes appear, blending nicely with the flavor profile. The smoke is very smooth. The burn remains even. This is a very well constructed cigar.
Approaching the final inch a light cinnamon flavor blends into the flavor profile. The complexity of this cigar is excellent. Definitely a fine cigar. 90
