This cigar sports a rustic box pressed three leaf barber pole wrapper with a sweet aroma. The aroma from the foot is less sweet but more substantial with a meaty background. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew latte.
The cigar starts off sweet with a medium body. The smoke is very smooth and plentiful. The burn is perfect. The ash is a medium grey with a stacked effect.
The first third is very smooth with cinnamon notes joining the flavor profile. There is a distinct white pepper note in the retrohale. The cigar is burning nice and slow. The burn remains even. The ash dropped at about two thirds of an inch. The coffee is proving to be a very good match.
During the second third a nice earthy quality emerges in the flavor profile. The cigar is still very smooth and medium bodied. The burn remains very even.
Approaching the final inch one side of the cigar stops burning. A quick touch up and it’s burning back to even. The sweetness and cinnamon are still dominant over the earthy flavors, but the overall complexity is excellent. The construction is a bit off, but not so much as to ruin the cigar. 89
