Hiram and Solomon Shriner

This cigar has a oily Colorado brown wrapper, perhaps Habano. The bunch is firm with no soft or hard spots. The foot smells of light ginger. The cold draw is perfect. This morning’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew latte.

The cigar starts out medium bodied with a ginger flavor on the tongue. The smoke is very smooth. The burn is very even and the light grey ash is solid.

The first third remains very smooth with lots of thick smoke. The flavor profile is still mainly ginger. There are hints of other flavors that I have yet to identify. The retrohale is also very smooth. The burn remains very even and the ash remains solid well past one inch where it drops.

During the second third light pepper notes appear on the tip of the tongue along with a hint of rum and nicely complement the flavor profile. The smoke remains very smooth and plentiful. The burn remains very even and the ash is still very solid.

Approaching the final inch the pepper notes have picked up a bit on the palate and in the retrohale. This cigar has a subtle but very pleasing complexity. The construction is immaculate, burning evenly throughout. This is a very good morning cigar and goes perfectly with the latte. 93
